Your password

Who can do this: Owner, Admin, Staff

Open More, tap your name, then look under Password.

Change password

If you log in with an email and a password, the row says Change password.

  1. Tap Change password.
  2. Type your Current password.
  3. Type a New password. It needs at least 10 characters.
  4. Tap Change password.

The app says Password changed. Your other phones are logged out. The phone in your hand stays logged in. Every other phone needs the new password, or a code, to log in again.

If the app says That isn’t your current password., check it and try again. After too many wrong tries, wait the time the app shows.

Forgot your current password?

  1. Tap Forgot your current password? under the card.
  2. The app asks Email a reset link to your email. Tap Email me a link.
  3. Open the link in the email. It opens a web page where you choose a new password.

Set a password

If you signed up with your phone number, you have no password yet. The row says Set a password. With one, you can also log in with your email and that password.

  1. Tap Set a password.
  2. Type your Email and tap Email me a code. If your account already has an email, it is filled in for you.
  3. Type the Code from the email. It works for 30 minutes. Then type a New password, at least 10 characters, and tap Set password.
  4. Check it’s you opens. Tap Text me a code. We text a code to your account’s phone.
  5. Type the Code from the text and tap Set password.

The app says Password set. and that your other phones are logged out: like a password change, setting one logs out every other phone. The phone in your hand stays logged in. From now on you can log in with your phone and a code, or with your email and password.

If the code from the email was wrong, the app takes you back to it. Type the right one and tap Set password: you don’t need a new text code while the last one is still good.

If you typed the wrong email, tap Use a different email. The email you typed stays in the field.

If the app says That check ran out. Text yourself a new code., tap Text me a code again and type the new code.
