Booking history
Who can do this: Owner, Admin, Staff
Open a booking and scroll to the bottom. History lists every change to it, newest first. The first entry, how it was booked, is at the bottom: Booked online, Booked by staff or Walk-in.
What each line says
- What happened, for example Confirmed, Moved to Thu 8 Oct, 7:30 PM, Table changed to T4, Party changed to 6 people, Marked as arrived, Marked as done or Cancelled. If you have more than one branch, a move to another branch reads Moved to and the branch.
- Who and when, for example Mei Chen, Staff · Today, 3:13 PM. The customer means the customer did it on the booking page. Automatically means the app did it, and a third line says why, for example Bookings here don’t need your OK or No answer by 6:00 PM. A customer’s own words when they cancel show in quotes.
- A person who has left the team keeps the name they had when they made the change.
The details of one change
Tap a line. A sheet shows only what applies:
- When: the exact date and time, with seconds.
- Who made the change.
- Before and After: the time, the branch, the table, the party size or the status.
- Reason: the customer’s reason or the app’s.
- Note: on the first entry, the note the booking was made with.
- From: Owner app, Booking page, the app itself, or API.

Messages to the customer
Owners and admins also see each message the customer got, as Message sent to the customer with the channel and what it was about, for example WhatsApp: booking changed. Staff don’t see these lines. The message’s text and the customer’s number never show here. For a booking that was moved, you see the messages sent for this booking; the earlier ones stay on the booking it was moved from.
A moved booking
When a booking is moved to a new time, it keeps its history. The moved booking’s History shows everything from the first booking on.
