Points and rewards
Who can do this: Your customers
With loyalty on, your customers can see their points on your booking page. They don’t need an account.
Where they see their points
Points show only after the customer enters the 6-digit code sent to their phone. The email link alone never shows them.
- On Find my booking, under their upcoming bookings. A customer with points and no bookings ahead still sees them.
- On a booking’s own page, after they verify their phone, under Add to calendar.
The card is called Your points at your business’s name. It shows:
- the balance, for example 120 points;
- when the points expire, for example Your points expire on 9 Oct 2027 if you don’t visit before then.;
- Recent points: tap it to see the last 5 changes, newest first. A visit shows its service, its day and the points it gave, for example Haircut, 3 Oct, +60. A change you made shows as Adjusted by the shop, never with your reason.
In their emails
The booking confirmed email, the reminder email and the rating ask email end with a line such as You have 120 points at your business’s name. The line is left out when the customer has no points or loyalty is off. Text messages and WhatsApp don’t carry it.
How customers earn
Customers earn points each time they visit. The points land when you mark the visit Done. If you undo Done, the line Visit undone takes those points back. See How customers earn.
When points expire
Points expire after 12 months with no visit. Each visit starts the 12 months again. Points that ran out show as Points expired.
Branches
You decide whether customers have one balance for all your branches or one balance per branch. See Points across branches. With a balance per branch, the card shows the balance at the branch where the customer has the most points.
When loyalty is off
- Off and never used: no card shows.
- Turned off after customers earned points: the card says Points are paused at your business’s name and that customers keep the points they have. Points don’t expire while loyalty is off.
