Message credits
Who can do this: Owner
One message credit sends one WhatsApp or SMS to a customer: a confirmation, a change or a reminder. SMS is only used when WhatsApp can’t reach them. Emails are free and don’t use credits.
Each plan includes a number of message credits a month:
| Free | Pro | Business |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | 500 | 1,500 |
The count starts again on the first day of each month. Credits you don’t use don’t carry over.
See how many you used in More → Plan & usage, on the Message credits row.
What uses a credit
Only WhatsApp and SMS sent to your customers about their bookings use credits: confirmations, reminders and changes.
- A WhatsApp and the SMS sent when that WhatsApp can’t reach the customer use one credit.
- A long SMS uses one credit.
- A message that could not be sent uses none.
These never use a credit:
- Emails and push notifications.
- The 6-digit codes customers and your team get to log in or confirm a booking.
- Invites and other messages to you and your team.
When the month’s credits run out
If you have top-up credits, messages use them next. When those run out too, customers who gave an email get their reminders by email until next month. Bookings keep working as before.
A customer with no email on their booking gets no message until the next month. This can happen with bookings your team added in the app.
Top-ups
Every plan can buy extra message credits on the web dashboard, from RM15 for 100 credits. They never expire, and your plan’s credits for the month are used first. See Top-up credits.
Notices at 80% and 100%
The owner gets an email and a push when the business has used 80% of the month’s credits, and again when they are all used. You can turn these pushes off in More → Notifications, under Your plan: Message credits at 80% and Message credits used up. The emails always come.
