Receipts
Who can do this: Owner
Every payment gets one receipt. Receipts are numbered, for example WB-R-000123.
By email
When a payment goes through, we email the receipt to your billing email, with the PDF attached. If you have no billing email, it goes to the email you log in with.
The email’s subject is Your receipt and the number, for example Your receipt WB-R-000123. It comes from WelcomeBird, not from Stripe. Its Open Billing button opens the dashboard’s Billing page.
If a payment arrives after the business was deleted, we refund it. Its receipt still comes by email, to the owner’s log-in email, with a line saying the payment will be refunded. It has no Open Billing button.
To change where receipts go, change Billing email in Billing details on the dashboard. See Buying a plan.
Download a receipt
- Log in to the dashboard at app.welcomebird.com.
- Open Billing and scroll to Invoices and receipts.
- Find the payment and tap Download in the Receipt column.
The PDF opens in your browser. Each tap makes a new download link that works for 5 minutes. If a link has expired, tap Download again.
An invoice that was never paid shows None in the Receipt column.
The Item column shows the plan and how often, for example Pro, monthly, or the credit pack, for example 100 message credits. See Top-up credits.
An invoice marked Refund due has a payment we are refunding. See Payments we refund.
On a phone the Amount shows under the date, the Item column is hidden, and Download is the download icon.
What the receipt shows
- Our company’s name, SSM number and address.
- Our SST registration number and an SST line, when our company is SST-registered.
- Receipt no. and Date.
- Bill to: your business, and the name, email and address from your Billing details. The address reads line by line, with the postcode and city together, for example 59100 Kuala Lumpur, then the state and the country.
- What you paid for: the plan and the dates it covers, or a message credit pack (for example WelcomeBird 100 message credits, with no dates), with the amount and the Total.
- Paid by: the card, or FPX online banking, and the Payment reference.
Names in Malay, English and Chinese print as you typed them. A character the receipt can’t print shows as ?.
