Come-back message

Come-back message

Coming soon. Offers and come-back messages are not switched on yet. Ratings and the QR poster are ready to use now. This page shows how they will work.

Who can do this: Owner, Admin

Open More, tap Business profile, then Reviews and come-back under After a visit. The Come-back message group is under the rating ask. Come-back messages are part of the Pro and Business plans; staff can’t open these settings.

If your plan doesn’t include them, the group says Your plan doesn’t include this. in place of the switch.

Turn it on

Turn on Send a come-back message. It is off to start, and the change saves at once. Send after, Offer in the message and See the message show only while it is on.

We message customers who said yes to offers and haven’t booked again since their last visit. Each customer gets it once for each visit, and never twice in 30 days.

Under the group, the page says how many customers said yes to offers, for example 142 customers said yes to offers. Every message has a link to stop them.

Who gets it

A customer gets the message when all of these are true:

  • They said yes to offers from your business. Customers say yes with the Send me offers from tick box on the last step when they book. It is off until they tick it, and the latest booking’s answer wins. A booking you add yourself, or a walk-in, never says yes for them. See Offer codes.
  • Their last visit was marked Done the number of days you chose in Send after ago.
  • They have no booking since, and none still ahead.

When you first turn it on, customers whose last visit passed that mark more than 14 days ago don’t get one, so nobody gets a message about a visit long ago.

When it goes

Choose Send after: 30 days since the last visit, 45, 60 or 90. 30 days since the last visit is the start.

Messages go once a day, after 10:00 AM in your business’s time, at most 200 a day. Each goes by WhatsApp, or by email when WhatsApp can’t reach the customer. A WhatsApp uses one of your month’s messages or top-up credits. While none are left, no come-back message goes, by WhatsApp or by email.

Add an offer

Choose Offer in the message: No offer (the start), 10% off, 15% off, 20% off, RM10 off or RM20 off (in your business’s currency).

With an offer, each customer gets their own voucher, for example GLOW-K7Q2. The page says Each customer gets their own code. It works once, for 30 days. The voucher:

  • works only for that customer, on one booking;
  • works until the end of its 30th day;
  • goes in Offer code (optional) on the last step when they book, and is checked when they confirm.

Change the offer any time. New messages carry the new offer; vouchers already sent keep the offer they were sent with until their last day. Choosing No offer stops new vouchers, and the ones already sent still work until their last day.

Come-back vouchers aren’t listed with your offer codes. In More → Offers, the Come-back message group shows the offer and how many were sent and used, for example Sent 24 · Used 6. Sent counts the messages that carried a voucher; Used counts the vouchers a booking holds or used. See Offers.

What the customer gets

Tap See the message to read the words a customer gets, with a sample customer. WhatsApp shows it as a chat from your business; Email shows the email, with its subject. Nothing is sent.

  • Without an offer: Time for your next visit?, with your booking page.
  • With an offer: An offer for your next visit, with the offer, the customer’s own voucher and its last day.

Every message has two buttons:

  • Book again opens your booking page. It works only while your business is published.
  • Stop offers stops come-back messages from your business for that customer, in one tap. Their booking messages, like confirmations and reminders, still come. In email apps, the Unsubscribe button does the same. See Stop offers.

Turn it off

Turn off Send a come-back message and no more messages go, including any waiting to go. Vouchers already sent still work until their last day.

If someone else changes them
